Bill O’Reilly Just Ridiculed Jake Tapper. Tapper’s Response Is Brutally Epic

After Bill O’Reilly simultaneously praised FOX News Host Sean Hannity and insulted CNN’s Jake Tapper in one tweet, Tapper retaliated on Twitter with a knock-out blow.
O’Reilly tweeted, “Sean Hannity kicking serious butt in the ratings. Tapper on CNN as low as you can go.”
“Low,” Tapper wrote, “would be sexually harassing staffers and then getting fired for it — humiliated in front of the world. Now THAT would be low.”

Tapper nails the fact that Bill O’Reilly, once the top-rated host in cable news, was fired from FOX in April after a series of sexual harassment accusations came to light and then an internal investigation exposed still more.
O’Reilly’s sexual misbehavior proved to be in line with the overall culture at the conservative news network, where a number of women came forward to decry the sexual harassment — and in some cases, assault — they had endured from their colleagues and their bosses, all the way up to top executive, Roger Ailes.
Just like the Predator-in-Chief they celebrate, men at FOX have demonstrated a frightening amount of entitlement when it comes to women’s bodies.
FOX enabled their hosts, only firing them when the press exposed their criminal behavior to the public, not after the numerous times their female employees complained internally.
The system of enablers highlighted in actresses’ recent allegations against Harvey Weinstein highlight a systemic problem called “rape culture.”
Jake Tapper is right to call out the fact that sexual harassment constitutes a crime, while low ratings don’t.
We must all take Tapper’s lead and make America uninhabitable for proponents of rape culture.
